Tasmanian Veteran Photography Expo
The Tasmanian veteran's photography exhibition to be held in Hobart on the weekend of the 30th and 31st of October 2020. The exhibition and photography competition, sponsored by Point Assist, will show case Tasmanian veterans photography and after judging, prizes will be awarded in several categories.

Cut off for all work to be submitted for display and competition is Friday 16th October.
Competition winners will be announced at the event, 1500 Saturday 31st October.
This exhibition and competition will be open to Tasmanian's only and you must be serving or Ex-serving;
An awesome line up of judges for the event, both ex-military and accomplished professional photographers
Who: Tasmanian Veterans and Frontline First Responders.
What: Photography Exhibition and Competition.
When: Friday 30th October 1600 - 2000 and Saturday 31st October 1000 – 1600. Coinciding with Veterans Health Week.
Where: Brooke Street Pier Hobart, Tasmania.
How: Display of Veterans and Frontline First Responders photography by both printed and digital media. Free to enter and free to attend.
Why: Because Tasmanian Veterans and Frontline First Responders live interesting lives, and we think that sharing their experiences, through photography, is a good thing.
Point and Shoot Photography Expo & Competition Categories.
Open Tas – Anytime. Anywhere. Any Device. Of course, Tasmania must feature (think urban, people, portrait, Tassie wilderness).
Landscape or Wilderness – Anytime. Anywhere (of landscape or wilderness). Only open to camera photos (DSLR or mirrorless).
Mobile Camera/Phone – Must be taken during 2020, and on a mobile phone in Tasmania.
Career Shot – This category will be a display of Tasmanian’s Veterans and Front Line First Responder’s photos from their career serving their country or community. Photos can be taken in Tasmania, wider Australia, or overseas on operations. Stills and 10-60 second video clips accepted.
We want to see awesome shots of Tasmanians doing great things!
*Photographers should take care to have the photo approved by the organisation in which they were working for.
*Career Shot will not be open for judging, and no prizes to be awarded.
*Career Shot will exhibit to the public and must be suitable for all ages.
